I like the way you think. IDK how we got onto it, but even my supervisor was telling me today that I’ll never find a decent guy in Vegas. Doy, I knew that, but still. I don’t like to be reminded!

On the other hand, I do believe in HEAs. Because I know they’re only temporary. It’s everything after that you have to work for, and if you’ve already got your HEA, then the work won’t seem like such a bore. You’ll want to “fight for this love.” lol.

Well, if a smart beautiful girl like you can’t find Mr Right, there’s no hope for the rest of us is their?!

I do believe in happy ever afters…in fairytales.

In real life its enough to find someone you respect and can build a life with to be honest. People fall in and out of love but to find someone you can be friends with even when you’re not in love with them at times, now that’s the real achievement.

I’d like for things to be settled. Permanent job and a car would be a start. But what I’d really like is for everyone I love to live forever.

Maybe. I didn’t do anything abnormal as far as exertion before the pains came. I decided against going to the doctor, so I’m pretty much back to 100%. Maybe 89% lol. I think I might try a chiropractor though. My sister swears by adjustments. Still feeling stiff.

Could it be a muscle strain? I had something very similar to what you described recently. I didn’t have much exercise, but I did exert my body pretty suddenly from its zero state, and what I thought felt like kidney pain the next day was a muscle strain. Either way, I hope that you resolve this pain problem soon.. whether it be through our body’s miraculuous mechanisms or the doctor. I tend to root for the body, though. It’s cheaper, and it never ceases to amaze me how much it’s capable of natural healing.

Thanks. It’s kinda strange, I was lying in bed trying to fall asleep and I felt the pain trickling out of my body. It was the strangest thing. I woke up and I could move even better than I did the day before. Weird how bodies work.

Speaking of motivation, I’m going to make a vision board. I have to go through a few other old mags that we have lying around. Have you heard of them? I think I need a double punch of visual and verbal motivation.

Turns out everything was taken care of. We both learned our lessons, and now I’m ready to move on.

I don’t like the attention I get when I wear dresses so that’s why I hardly wear them. However, it would make sense to wear dresses considering how hot it gets here. I mean, I’m used to wearing jeans in 115º heat (46 ºC), but it’s time to break old habits.

Thank you for your insight.

If there were any other way to describe something – especially literature – she’d choose it. I believe in my initial indignation that I misrepresented her. If anything, I love her teaching method, as unconventional as it is. The lectures are lively, and people participate. Most of the students at my school don’t participate, me being one of them, lol. Unless I have something to say!

But some days, you have to lean on profanity to explain yourself, whether we are talking anger, or something sexual. How many euphemisms does the English language have for the act of sex anyways? A ton.

Coming from a design industry, to cuss in the office is normal, because there are so many volatile tempers in one space. But even outside of that example, I get your drift. Sometimes, the right choice of word when conveying a message is that colourful four or five letter one. This is not to say that people should go ahead and fire expletives at will in any type of social situation, but rather to know the difference between putting too much meaning into a curse word (by focusing too much on the “sin” of it, so to speak) and see the word for the context that it’s being played in.

I had an professor ages ago that explained the morality of “fuck buddies”. She said, “They’re buddies who fuck without any type of proper commitment.” Get this: it was a Theology class, and understandably a few people (especially the more conservative ones) were a bit taken aback. However, I felt it was in context, because she defined the term using the provided words. Besides, how tacky is the censored “porking buddies”? It sounds like a barbecue gathering. =P

Like I just replied to Humaira, I misrepresented my teacher. I was just peeved at the old lady and it definitely came out in this entry. My prof is nothing if not professional. Her cursing is few and far between. Since we’re all used to professors being so respectful, when she uses a curse word to explain what the author is *really* saying, it makes that much funnier. And the way she explains it is hilarious, esp. when she says the word. The whole class will be rolling. I wish I could tape one of her lectures so you could see. She’s that awesome, I wanna share her teaching style, lol.

I think I misrepresented my professor. She doesn’t do it casually. She doesn’t throw profanity in conversations around like I do, lolz. In fact, when she does say it, she sorta whispers it, like she’s afraid we’re gonna get offended.
