Peace in the Middle East: An “Alternative” 90s Playlist

One of my people on Facebook asked for songs from the 90s that were “alternative.” Luckily, I have amassed a great amount of mainstream alternative/modern rock music from that decade of my childhood.

Obviously this is not an all-knowing, all-inclusive list. But it touches on some major hits, some obscure one-hit wonders, some just plain obscure, some Britpop, songs from soundtracks, and songs like that.

The title of the mixtape comes from Clueless. RIP Brittany Murphy.

The hardest part was getting all those album covers onto the mixtape cover! My eyes went cross-eyed, swear to God! :D

THIS is my kind of list.

What’s wrong with my other mixtapes? *cries in the corner*

JK, JK. There were some pretty iconic songs from the 90s. Just listening to these while I was making it was sending me back.

I kept wanting to add pop songs though. Me and my happy pop music. :D
