Now it’s been three weeks! Trying to wrap my head around everything right now.
The semester is ending very soon, and I think I’ll be able to pull a B in that class, at least. An A might be too much to ask, only because I do have a few assignments missing. Whoops. I wish I had taken more classes, because when I’m busy, I don’t have time to be lazy. And I’ve been uber lazy this semester. My self-inflicted punishment is taking 3 classes next semester, haha.
Speaking of grad school, they accepted my app, HOWEVER, they need to see that 3.0. So I need to hustle to get good grades next semester so I can prove it to my grad school. I will pressure myself to get good grades. 3.0 is what, a B average? I know at least 2 I can get an A in. Is that padding your GPA if you take bird courses? lol.
Work is work. We’re heading into our Christmas shutdown. Last I heard, it’ll be only 2 weeks this year, instead of 3. 1 whole pay period. Not too bad. I just have to budget accordingly. The only thing I’m worried about is tuition. I worked out a budget for it already. But going on unemployment for those 2 weeks is gonna suck. My parents will help me if I ask. I can always pick up some hours those 2 weeks. They keep our department where people who wanna work can work, and those who don’t want to don’t have to. And it goes by seniority. So we’ll see. I got just enough hours last year to stay afloat. I also sold my textbooks which helped immensely. I sold a few things on Amazon again, so I’ll stash that cash for laters.
I’m sorting out gift cards to stash in my friends’ Christmas cards this year, well, the ones I want to buy stuff for, lol. I need to save up for that too. I hope they don’t expect too much because hey, trying to save money. But I want to send them a little somethin’ somethin’.
As a Thanksgiving treat to myself, I bought Super Mario Bros Wii. I put it on hold once I saw the ads. In fact, I even pushed the money I had on hold for the Beatles: Rock Band to this game instead. I decided to wait until the bundle for the Beatles game goes down. It’s $249+tax, ’cause I don’t have a guitar. FML.
Anyways, I have died so many times in Super Mario Bros Wii! At last count, I’ve used 25 continues, no joke. When you think about it, the whole point of the game is not to die and you can die by touching everything! lol. That’s definitely what I remember from Super Mario Bros on the Nintendo. You’d look at a Mushroom and you’d die, haha. My only complaint is that the the characters are unwieldy. When you let go of a button, the character should stop immediately, not brake in such a way that makes him slam into that Piranha Plant you were trying to avoid. But I’m not going to stop until I beat it… or until the Super Guide keeps kicking in for me, lol.
Me and my nieces – especially N – have been playing it since I got it. C likes Super Mario Galaxy better though. Oh well. We are definitely a Nintendo family.
?: “Any fun purchases lately?“
busy Music: Listen to Your Heart - Roxette Reading: World War Z

The less that can be said about me, the better.
I bought “The Marriage Bureau for Rich People” from my birthday gift card which was an awesome, gentle read.
Other than that I’ve been pretty frugal with my spending.
That title alone is hilarious.
As long as my bills are paid, I love splurging… which happens often, lol.
I can’t believe how fast this semester went! I want it to go a bit slower, to give me time to catch up on a couple of classes’ work!
I’ve been having conversations with my bro about getting a Wii and possibly going halfsies on it. I want to do all the sports stuff!
?: All my book purchases are my fun purchases
I’m not gonna lie, this semester has flown by for me too! I keep looking at the calendar going, “Really? It’s practically December already!”
You’ll have fun with the sports games. If Wii Sports Resort goes on sale, I’m definitely grabbing it.
