So when you hear this autumn song

This was a unique sort of meme. You were supposed to post a thing you were thankful from November 1-25. I was almost a week late, and I decided to copy/paste my statuses in a text file until I was ready to post them altogether.

1. I am thankful for good music, which has saved my life in ways you cannot imagine.
2. I am thankful for my immediate and extended family, as crazy, sexy, cool and ultimately, as passive-aggressive as we are.
3. I am thankful for my friends, who are few and far between.
4. I am thankful for the roof over my head, which does not belong to me, but someday I’ll get one of my own.
5. I am thankful for my car, that is swiftly falling apart but will be paid off by the end of 2010.
6. I am thankful for my iPhone, one phone to rule them all.
7. I am thankful for love, without which I could not live life without.
8. I am thankful for my job because not a lot of people have one in this “day & age.”
9. I am thankful for epic naps.
10. I am thankful for my freedom, and to the veterans who have fought for me to have it.
11. I am thankful for waiting patiently because I got insurance benefits again, even with the classification I have at work.
12. I am thankful for home-cooked food because I have a gang of leftover spaghetti from last night that is going to be “killed” momentarily.
13. I am thankful for holiday pay even if it means working on Thanksgiving.
14. I am thankful that I can breathe, even though I cannot currently smell anything, as my nose is stuffed up. lol.
15. I am thankful for autumn days because of the bundling up opportunities.
16. I am thankful for Fridays.
17. I am thankful for lazy days even though I have a paper due next Monday & haven’t started the research.
18. I am thankful for chill days even if it means running around doing stuff.
19. I am thankful for the days after a show closes because it gets hella quiet & we can chill.
20. I am thankful for good movies and television, i.e. Stardust (right now) and Sanctuary (later on tonight).
21. I am thankful for hump days because you know Monday is coming up around the corner.
22. I am thankful for my warm room & cozy bed which I am missing very much right now.
23. I am thankful I never lost my love of video games. Super Mario Bros Wii is so frustrating and fun. Just like how I remember it from back in the day.
24. I am thankful for being busy. In fact, I should get off the interwebz and do my errands, lol.
25. I am thankful I have nothing to do. This is the best Thanksgiving vacation ever.

Anyways, I know most of my readers don’t celebrate Thanksgiving, but there’s nothing more American than this holiday weekend. Okay. maybe the Fourth of July, but whatever. We may share this holiday with Canada but their celebration of it is vastly different from ours. And hey, we started it, lol. Much love to my Canadian brothers and sisters.
